It is our Day 4 in Sri Lanka. Today we started from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya.
On the way we visited a Tea Factory and learned many thing. Tasted many varieties of tea. Not to forget Tea Estates views.
We visited the Ramboda Waterfall, located in the central highlands near Nuwara Eliya. It is 358 feet high. We had a good time there.
Near to it, we visited Hanuman Temple as well and took his blessings.
From there we went to Gregory Park. established during the British colonial period in 1873, the park and lake were named after Sir William Gregory, the British Governor of Ceylon at that time. We loved the flower garden, lake, hills etc.
From here we visited Ashok Vatika, iocally known as Seetha Eliya. There you can see the footprints of Hanuman. We worshipped there, from there we went to the hotel.
In between we visited the Nuwara Eliya town, the iconic Post Office, the market, streets and had a lovely lunch, an Indian(Tamil Style) lunch.
