It has some of the best and famous shops & restaurants. Vidhyarthi Bhawan does not need any introduction, same as Asha Sweets and Bharjari Oota for its traditional meals. Gandhi Bazar has all sorts of shops from clothes to jewelry, to grocery, daily needs, to watches, goggles, branded and unbranded showrooms, original and first copy items of clothes, shoes, books, accessories etc. The very famous Bull Temple and Rock Bugle Park are just walkable to this place. You can spend your full day in these places.

This is Day 3 of the Sri Lanka Trip. In the second half of the day, we continued our sight seeing, and we reached The Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya, Kandy. Which is one of the most famous botanical gardens in Sri Lanka and a major tourist attraction. The gardens are located about 5.5 kilometers west of the city of Kandy in the Central Province of Sri Lanka, near the Mahaweli River. They were formally established in 1843, though their history dates back to 1371 when King Wickramabahu III kept a court at Peradeniya. During the British colonial period, the gardens were expanded and developed, with many plants being introduced from around the world. It covers a land of 147 acres and is a n important center for botanical research and plant conservation in Sri Lanka. They have over 4,000 species of plants, including orchids, spices, medicinal plants, and palm trees.
