Pahadi Mandir Ranchi : Jharkhand Series

It is a beautiful Shiva temple situated at the top of the hill in the heart of the city Ranchi, Jharkhnd.  You have to climb 400+ steps to reach the temple, The hill gives a panoramic view of the city and is one of the major landmarks of Ranchi Town.  At the bottom hill, there is a beautiful Ranchi Lake.  It has some historical evidence also. freedom fighters were hanged here by the Britishers. So after Independence hoist the Tricolor on the hill. Shrawan Mela, Mahashivratri, and Vaishakh Mahotsav are a few major festivals celebrated here. D uring Shravan time, the devotees offer Jal (Dhara) to the temple deity and the Shravan season is a major draw of the pilgrims.  There are other temples also within the premises. Chunchi Waterfalls : Kaveri River Series

One of the beautiful and great Waterfall near to Bangalore The Chunchi Falls originate from the Arkavati River and cascade beautifully for over 60 feet, and flow to meet the Kaveri river in Sangama, Mekedatu. We were on a 2 day trip from Bangalore where we visited many places like Talakadu, Sivasamdura, Sangama, Mekedatu and Hoggenakkal waterfall. Watch video for more
